Elites


Athletes who wish to receive Elite Athlete status for competition in the Carolina First Reedy River Run 10K are selected based on the following criteria: a) must meet elite athlete time standards established by the Carolina First Reedy River Run, b) must complete elite athlete application, and c) review and approval by the Carolina First Reedy River Run Elite Athlete Committee.

Elite athlete applicants are required to list both their career personal records and past twenty-four months running accomplishments, along with supporting documentation that they can qualify to run within the elite time standards established by the Carolina First Reedy River Run.
Athletes who are interested in being considered for Elite Athlete status should complete and submit the application below, which can be emailed to the
race director. If you have questions, please contact the Carolina First Reedy River Run Race Director, Joe Lanahan, to discuss appearance opportunities for the 10K.

Gold Standard: Any athlete who has been a member of Team USA in the past 24 months, or been a member of a World Championship or Olympic Team will receive special consideration. Please contact race director Joe Lanahan for more information.
